Do you ever feel that you are somewhere between Genesis chapters 37 and 40. In the midst of circumstances that you can’t believe and would not have chosen for yourself? Is God allowing circumstances to knead you, mold you, make you into a vessel worthy of a great commission?
One of the struggles that I have is exactly how much space God needs to work. What I mean by this is how much abiding is necessary? What’s the line between His will for my life and my will for my life? If a prayer isn’t answered, is it because it just not time, or is the answer ‘no’? Or was it my will and not His?
Sometimes we walk through what seems to be a season of trials and struggles… and it seems to stretch on and on much like a cold dark winter. But rather than fixate on the struggles, my husband and I like to ponder what God is up to.
Faith and patience is the canal for miracles, remedy for empty cupboards, dried up cups, and Battle Fatigue. Faith is a choice… choose wisely and don’t be found lacking.

I was more wrapped up in how I believed God was going to answer my prayers than praying for God to use the situation to grow all of our hearts closer to Him and to trust Him with every detail of the outcome because HE KNOWS BEST.
