You can’t use fear as a motivator… it will eventually turn its back on you to create bondage.
We live with a defeatist attitude and succumb to the lie of the enemy that promises trouble around every corner. We forget that we belong to the Creator of the Universe and that we are His children & He has made amazing promises to us about how to live in victory.
Faith and patience is the canal for miracles, remedy for empty cupboards, dried up cups, and Battle Fatigue. Faith is a choice… choose wisely and don’t be found lacking.
Fear of failure, fear of persecution, fear of loss, etc. These fears are completely founded and valid if I look through a human perspective – minus God.
That’s a pretty awesome thought to ponder… that until you take a step into unknown territory or into a place that you can’t see what’s next… you aren’t demonstrating faith.
The enemy loves to do this to faithful followers of Christ to drive a wedge between us and our Lord… not to mention distract us from our work at hand – which happens to be ministry related.
