How often do you get up out of bed and head off into your day without protection from the unknown and the attacks of the enemy. Ephesians 6:10-18 encourages us to be prepared and put on the Armor of God
You can’t use fear as a motivator… it will eventually turn its back on you to create bondage.
Are you on that part of your journey to the cross where things are just out of control? Are you feeling less and less able to control circumstances and situations. If so, praise God. He loves you way too much to leave you the way that you are.
Sometimes, as we try to be the light during our Christian walk, we get so caught up with the irritating things that pop up and go wrong that we miss out on the journey… and on His presence.
Do you ever feel that you are somewhere between Genesis chapters 37 and 40. In the midst of circumstances that you can’t believe and would not have chosen for yourself? Is God allowing circumstances to knead you, mold you, make you into a vessel worthy of a great commission?
One of the struggles that I have is exactly how much space God needs to work. What I mean by this is how much abiding is necessary? What’s the line between His will for my life and my will for my life? If a prayer isn’t answered, is it because it just not time, or is the answer ‘no’? Or was it my will and not His?
But I also urge you to pray – not only for the pastors in the DRC – but for the pastors, teachers and leaders in our country. Pray that they would teach the Truth from the Scripture and that they would ‘test’ their learnings against other scripture and against the Character of God.
