I have always likened a gentle breeze and a wind gust to the Holy Spirit. I think of it as the ever-present God that we serve. I find it refreshing, renewing and an instant reminder that He is right there… at that very moment.
Are you on that part of your journey to the cross where things are just out of control? Are you feeling less and less able to control circumstances and situations. If so, praise God. He loves you way too much to leave you the way that you are.
Sometimes, as we try to be the light during our Christian walk, we get so caught up with the irritating things that pop up and go wrong that we miss out on the journey… and on His presence.
The pain is great, the all-consuming fear, hurt, worry is very real and very fluid. It moves in and out, like a dense fog, with the wind and is eager to meet us immediately upon waking every morning.
